What's this octopus doing with a coconut?

Australian scientists just discovered that octopi (octopuses? octopussi??) have the savvy to use coconut halves as a "tool."  They carry halves of an empty coconut shell, planning to reassemble the two halves into a spherical shelter.   Before so many coconut shells were thrown into the water--garbage from making pina coladas--octopus probably used shells instead to make their shelter.

I'm wondering.... if the octopus truly has the ability to make tools, to use the coconut and to plan ahead...  how long will it be before they start making pina coladas?   Source
